摘　　要：本文探讨了埃莱娜·费兰特的《那不勒斯四部曲》在英译过程中文化差异的影响。小说通过莉拉和埃莱娜的故事,展现了深刻的友情与人生挑战,全球广受好评并被HBO改编为电视剧。文章首先强调了文化差异在翻译中的重要性,随后通过中英文译本对比,分析了方言、性别角色和文化特定词汇的翻译难题。讨论了译者在忠实原作与适应目标文化间的平衡努力及其对读者理解的影响。最后,文章提出了对翻译实践的启示,强调了跨文化交流在全球化时代的重要性。This article explores the impact of cultural differences on the English translation of Elena Ferrante’s “Neapolitan Tetralogy”. The novels, which follow the complex friendship and life journeys of Lila and Elena from adolescence to adulthood, have garnered global attention and been adapted into an HBO series. The article first underscores the significance of cultural differences in translation practice, then analyzes the challenges of translating dialects, gender roles, and culture-specific terms through a comparison of the English and Chinese versions. It discusses the efforts of translators to balance fidelity to the original work with adaptation to the target culture and how these efforts influence reader comprehension and reception. Finally, the article offers insights into translation practice, highlighting the importance of cross-cultural communication and understanding in the context of globalization.
