术语的提取与翻译——以Introduction to Logistics Systems Management的英汉翻译为例

摘　　要：全球化及信息化推动了翻译模式的转变,译者不再囿于一纸一笔、单枪匹马的个人作战,而是投身于规模化、流程化、众包化的翻译协作。在协同翻译中,专业术语是语言资产的重要组成部分,专业术语翻译的一致性能够使翻译实践从孤岛效应转变为共享共建,对国家经济发展、语言服务行业的资产管理和个人翻译质量和效率的提升都具有重大意义。本文以英汉翻译项目Introduction to Logistics Systems Management的1.2~1.5章节作为研究材料,该材料结合作者在教学、研究及行业咨询的丰富经验介绍了物流系统管理的方法论,被世界各地的大学作为教材广泛使用。同时,又涉及到统计学、贸易行业等多个学科,其专业术语翻译值得深入研究。本文将基于国内外学者对术语的相关研究展开,借助ChatGPT进行术语提取,查证、筛选列出术语表,并通过分析实例来探讨专业术语和缩略语的翻译方法,如查询专业术语词典、借助标准化文件《物流术语》、平行文本对照、学术搜索、图片搜索等。Globalization and informatization serve as a driving force for the transformation in the translation paradigm. Translators are no longer confined to individual endeavors with pen and paper, but rather engage in scalable, process-oriented, and crowdsourced collaborative translation. In collaborative translation, specialized terminology is an important part of linguistic assets. Consistency in the translation of specialized terminology facilitates the shift from isolated translation practices to shared construction, which holds significant implications for national economic development, asset management in the language service industry, as well as the improvement of individual translation quality and efficiency.
