Satisfaction Survey of MTI Supply and Demand Side and Vision of Translation Talent Cultivation in the Era of Artificial Intelligence

摘  要:笔者以在线问卷形式调研了国内22所高校MTI在校生,14家翻译用人单位负责人,收回有效问卷各562、17份,旨在了解MTI供需侧对目前MTI教育的满意度,以期为国内高校翻译教学与翻译市场实现“无缝衔接”提供针对性解决方案。数据统计结果表明,大部分调查对象对目前MTI教育现状比较满意,但也反映出了一些供需差距。为此,建议高校MTI教育应该深根植于人工智能时代,以培养“高精尖”翻译人才为目标,建立基于翻译人才需求的课程体系,加大翻译技术和译者素养类课程,加强与翻译企业的合作,采取在校师生“走出去”,企业导师和翻译平台“引进来”策略,实现“产学研”的深度融合,培养符合市场需求的翻译人才。The authors conducted online questionnaire surveys on MTI students from 22 universities, and 14 translation-related employers, collecting valid questionnaires of 562 and 17 respectively, in order to investigate the satisfaction from MTI supply and demand side with the current MTI education and provide targeted solutions to the “seamless connection” between translation teaching in domestic universities and the translation market. The data statistics show that most of the subjects are satisfied with the present MTI education, but some gaps remain between supply and demand. Accordingly, it is recommended that college MTI education, against the era of artificial intelligence, should aim at cultivating high-grade specialized translators, establish a curriculum system based on the demands of translators, offer more courses on translation technology and translator literacy, strengthen cooperation with translation companies, and adopt “going out” policy for oncampus teachers and students, and “bringing in” strategies for corporate mentors and translation platforms to achieve the indepth integration of “production, study and research”, and cultivate market-demanded translators.
