摘　　要：新时代的发展背景下,中国不仅致力于经济实力的提升,也日益重视展现文化软实力。中华优秀传统文化博大精深、源远流长,是世界优秀文化的重要组成部分。我们不仅要传承优秀传统文化,还需要让世界了解中国文化,培养大量优秀的旅游英语人才势在必行。本文探讨了中华传统文化融入《旅游英语》的理论基础和必要性,在此基础上提出了具有实践性和操作性的具体方案。In the new era of development, China is not only committed to the promotion of economic strength, but also increasingly attaches importance to the display of cultural soft power. The fine traditional Chinese culture is extensive and profound and has a long history. It is an important part of the fine culture in the world. We should not only inherit the excellent traditional culture, but also should let the world understand Chinese culture. It is imperative to cultivate a large number of excellent tourism English talents. This thesis discusses the theoretical basis and necessity of Chinese traditional culture’s infiltration into the Tourism English course, and on this basis it puts forward some practical and operational plans.
