摘　　要：华兹华斯是19世纪最杰出的浪漫主义诗人之一。他的诗篇中有很多歌咏自然的不朽之作,因此他被称为"大自然的诗人"。他的语言简朴真挚,打破了18世纪古典主义思想的至酷。对华兹华斯来说自然是心灵的"乳母""导师""家长"和"全部精神生活的灵魂"。本文试图从这四个具体方面分析自然对华兹华斯的意义。William Wordsworth in one of the most outstanding romantic poets during the nineteenth century. Among his works there are many poems describing the nature, so he is also called 'A Poet of Nature'. Wordsworth uses very plain, sincere and natural language to describe his ideas which broke the obstacles of the eighteenth century neo-classism. For Wordsworth, nature is 'the nurse', 'the guide', 'the guardian of heart' and 'soul of all moral being'.
