摘 要:本研究旨在探讨在英中国留学生在沟通方面所面临的挑战以及他们对沟通技巧的认知、态度和运用。调查发现,大多数中国学生在交际中会运用一些技巧,如肢体语言、补语、反馈等。但是,在沟通中也存在一些不可忽视的问题,如对话题的熟悉程度不够,在对话中容易出现紧张情绪等。特别值得注意的是,中国学生在课堂讨论中使用母语的行为可能会影响到他们英语交流能力的提高。This research aimed to explore the challenges faced by Chinese students studying in the UK in terms of communication,as well as their cognition,attitude and use of communication skills.The survey found that most Chinese students would use some skills in communication,such as body language,complements and feedback.However,there were also some problems existing in their communication,such as insufficient familiarity with the topic,and tension in the dialogue.It was particularly worth noting that Chinese students’use of their mother tongue in classroom discussions may hinder the improvement of their English communication skills.
