非工作时间电子沟通与配偶生活幸福感:促进还是阻碍?

摘　　要：员工在非工作时间进行与工作相关的电子沟通的现象日益普遍。已有研究已经探讨了员工非工作时间电子沟通对其自身工作和非工作结果的影响,但是至今尚不清楚这种行为是否以及如何影响其配偶的生活幸福感。本文基于资源保存理论,从员工工作家庭冲突和配偶婚姻满意度两个视角,构建了员工非工作时间电子沟通影响其配偶生活幸福感的双路径模型,并使用339名已婚员工数据检验模型。本文的直接效应检验结果发现,员工非工作时间电子沟通与配偶生活幸福感正相关,表明非工作时间电子沟通有助于促进配偶生活幸福感。然而,间接效应检验结果显示,工作家庭冲突和配偶婚姻满意度在两者之间发挥遮掩效应,表明通过增加员工工作家庭冲突和降低配偶婚姻满意度,员工非工作时间电子沟通还会阻碍配偶生活幸福感。本文的研究结论打破了以往非工作时间电子沟通文献主要关注行动者本身的局限,为未来伴侣关系研究和干预提供了实践参考。It is increasingly common for employees to engage in work-related electronic commumication during non-working time.Previous studies have examined the impact of employees'electronic communication during non-working time(ECNT)on their own work and non-work outcomes,but it has not been clear whether and how such behavior influences their spouses’life well-being.Based on conservation of resource theory,this study constructs a dual path model of ECNT on their spouses’life well-being from the perspective of employees’work-farmily conflict and spouses’marital satisfaction.The model was tested using data from 339 married employees.The direct effect test result indicates that ECNT is positively correlated with spouse life well-being,indicating that ECNT can promote spouse life well-being.However,the indirect effct test result shows that focal employees’work-family conflict and spouses’marital satisfaction play a masking effect between ECNT and spouse life well-being,indicating that by increasing work-family conflict and reducing marital satisfaction,ECNT can also hinder spouse life well-being.Our findings break through the limitations of the previous literature on ECNT which focuses on the actors themselves,and provide a practical reference for future research and intervention on partnership.
