Efficacy and Clinical Value of Combining Sitagliptin and Metformin in the Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes

摘　　要：Objective: to observe the effectiveness and clinical value of sigliptin + metformin in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).Methods: 76 patients with T2DM treated from May 2020-May 2022 were randomly divided into: observation group (38 cases, sigliptin + metformin treatment), control group (38 cases, only metformin treatment) to evaluate the blood glucose control effect, insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR), fasting insulin (FINS), oxidative stress index, renal function index, blood lipid index, adverse drug reactions, and clinical efficiency.Results: (1) Before the treatment, There were no significant differences in blood glucose control effect, HOMA-IR, FINS, oxidative stress indexes, renal function indexes, and blood lipid indexes between the groups, P>0.05;After 3 months of treatment, Better blood glucose control effect, HOMA-IR, FINS, oxidative stress index, renal function index, and blood lipid index were observed, P<0.05;(2) In terms of adverse drug reactions, There was no significant difference between observation group (10.53%) and control group (5.26%), P>0.05, And with mild symptoms;(3) In terms of clinical efficiency, The observation group (97.37%) was better than the control group (78.95%), P<0.05. Conclusion: sigigliptin + metformin for T2DM patients can reduce blood sugar, enhance curative effect, improve insulin resistance and blood lipid index, relieve oxidative stress, reduce kidney injury, coupled with few adverse reactions, which is worth promoting.
