摘　　要：本文从语言学习的宏观角度,阅读对听说的促进及测试三个方面论述了阅读英美报刊的必要性,并简要总结了新闻英语的语言特点,希望有助于新闻英语的学习。From the broad point of view of language learning,reading's promotion to listening and speaking and the importance of reading in English tests,this article elaborates the necessity of reading articles from British & America press.It also briefly concludes the language feature of media English and hopes it is helpful to improve the learning of media English.
