摘　　要：名词化是科技英语最显著的特点之一。名词化主要指使用能表示动作或状态的抽象名词、起名词功用的非限定动词、名词连用等。从科技英语中的名词化现象入手,分析名词化的四种形式,并举例说明其在科技英语中的运用。Nominalization is one of the most remarkable characteristics.It involves the application of action nouns,gerund and expanded noun premodifiers.In this paper, four forms of nominalization are analyzed and examples are given to illustrate their application in English for science and technology.
