从隐喻的两大功能看科技术语翻译中的形象思维

摘　　要：通过运用隐喻理论对科学发现、发明过程中和对科技术语表达过程中形象思维的运用加以分析,认为在科技 术语翻译中也要运用形象思维才能使译文生动、形象,为读者所普遍接受。同时通过对科技术语不同译文效果的比 较,提出了几种在科技术语翻译中运用形象思维的方法。This thesis is to research the importance and method of using image thinking in the translation of scientific and technical terminology. Firstly, through putting the metaphor theory into practice, it gives an theoretical analysis to the use of image thinking in the process of scientific discovery and invention, and in the expression of the terminology, and comes to a conclusion that it is also necessary to use image thinking in the translation of the terminology , so as to make the translation vivid, lively and acceptable to the target readers. Secondly, the thesis makes some contrasts between the effects of different translations to the same term, and puts forward several methods of u sing image thinking to translate the terminology.
