大学专业英语的教学改革——以实用性英语教学为基点

摘　　要：实用性专业英语教学的目标是促进专业英语教学体系的改革,突出学生英语应用能力的提高。根据我校(广东警官学院) 大学专业英语教学改革的实际情况,应调整教学模式、教学内容、考试要求等,探索出适合专业英语课程的教学模式。This paper reviews the status quo of ESP course teaching under the background of college English reform, and then explains the objectives of practical teaching: accelerating the reform process of ESP course and improving the students' ability in using English. In accordance with ESP course teaching situation in Guangdong Police College, we try to find a new model to reform the current teaching system of ESP course through the adjustment of teaching method, teaching content and testing requirement.
