摘　　要：拟人作为一种重要的修辞方法，广泛运用于言语交际中，以增加表现对象的形象感和生动感。文章区别 于书面语，从口语的独特视角，以语用学的相关理论为依据，研究拟人修辞法在英语口语中的运用，特点及作用。As an indispensable figure of speech in rhetoric,personification is widely used in the language communication,enhancing the vividness and freshness of what is being described.This paper challenges to take a new perspective and conducts a research on the application of personification to oral English,in contrast with written English,based on some relevant theories in Pragmatics.
