摘 要:从婴幼儿生长发育需要高营养素含量的辅助食品、我国传统的婴幼儿辅助食品不能满足幼儿生长发育的需要及改善我国婴幼儿辅助食品的途径 3方面论述了我国婴幼儿辅助食品强化的必要性。从世界各国辅助食品强化的经验、我国辅助食品强化的经验、我国婴幼儿辅助食品强化的巨大市场潜力论证了我国辅助食品强化的可行性 ;同时提出了目前我国在辅助食品强化方面需作的努力 :(1)研究强化剂配方和建立相应的法规 ,(2 )拓宽预包装婴幼儿强化辅助食品的市场 ,(3)推广家庭内辅助食品强化 ,(4)加强营养宣教。Micronutrient malnutrition, one of the most common causes of child growth retardation, occurs in both urban and rural areas in China. The main reason is that the infants and young children have high nutritional demand, while their food choices are limited, the volume of their food intake is relatively low. Experience from other counties indicated that complementary food fortification is one of the best strategies to eliminate micronutrient malnutrition. Results from an efficacy trial in 1980s in China had demonstrated the effect of fortified complementary food improving iron in infants and acceptability of such food in our country. It is believed fortified complementary food will enjoy fair market share. However, great effort need to be invested to institutionalize complementary food fortification: (1) To formulate the fortificant premix and to establish regulation. (2) To expand the market share of pre-package fortified complementary food. (3)To promote in-home complementary food fortification. (4)To strengthen nutrition education.
