摘　　要：语言中的颜色词除了表示自然界的绚丽多彩外,还具有丰富的感情色彩和文化内涵。在英汉语言中,表示色彩的词语很丰富,但由于各个民族在文化传统和风俗习惯等方面存在着差异,人们对颜色产生的联想意义各不相同。本文旨在从中西文化对比的角度去探析颜色词在英汉语言中的文化差异,力图更好的促进英汉民族之间的文化交流。Except for showing the various colors of nature, color words also express rich emotions and have cultural connotation. Color words are abundant in both English and Chinese. However, because of different customs and cultural traditions,the associational meaning of the color words is different. This paper mainly probes into the cultural differences of color words so as to promote Chinese-English cultural communication.
