摘　　要：运用Verschueren的顺应理论分析汉语标示语的英译问题,从结构客体顺应、语境关系顺应、动态顺应等方面探讨了常用的警示性标示语和宣传性标示语的英译,认为常用的警示性标示语的英译要尽可能套用英语的表达方式,而宣传性标示语的英译就要顺应英语的文化语境和交际语境,注重交际目的的实现。This article analyzes the translation of Chinese public signs into English from the viewpoint of the Theory of Adaptation put forward by Verschueren. It discusses the translation of public signs of warning and publicity from three aspects: structural objects of adaptability, contextual correlates of adaptability, and dynamics of adaptability.
