英语专业学生学习动机的调查与分析

摘　　要：以Gardener、Williams和Burden等人提出的动机模式为基础,从内在动机、外在动机、采取行动的有意识的决定、环境因素以及一定时期内持续的脑力或体力的付出等方面对英语专业四个年级学生的学习动机展开调查,探讨了激发和保持英语专业学生学习动机的方法。This brief survey is based on the motivation model proposed by Gardner,Williams,Burden and et al.It tends to investigate in the following aspects: intrinsic motivation;extrinsic motivation;a conscious decision to act that involves,environmental factors and sustained intellectual and/or physical effort over a period of time.By analyzing the results of the survey,the paper tries to discuss some tentative and constructive ways to inspire and sustain the study motivation of English majors.
