摘　　要：谚语是语言中的精华,精练而富于哲理,具有极高的文学价值。英语谚语,由于语言文化的差异,容易在汉译的过程中失真,致使翻译不能很好地表达原义。本文重点探讨了英谚翻译的有关技巧,以期能对英谚的汉译、汉用起到帮助作用。Proverbs,the essence of culture,succinct in wording but abundant in wisdom,have much value of application.English proverbs,due to difference in language and culture,are easy to be incorrectly translated,thus unable to be expressed well.As a result,this passage has probed into some techniques of its translation,expecting to gain a tool for its application in Chinese.
