摘　　要：1 .5 5 μmInGaAsP/InP超辐射发光二极管组件是为高精度光纤陀螺研制的光源。组件采用标准 14针双列直插式管壳 ,熊猫型保偏光纤对准耦合 ,激光焊接 ,全金属化耦合封装。为了获得高输出功率 ,宽发射光谱 ,抑制受激振荡 ,采用了倾斜条形波导结构。组件尾纤输出功率大于 0 .1mW ,光谱宽度大于 15nm ,工作电流小于 15 0mA。1.55 μm superluminescent diode (SLD) modules are developed for high sensitive fiber optic gyroscopes. In order to obtain both high power and wide spectral width,an inclined stripe waveguide feedback structure is used to suppress Fabry-Perot oscillation in the diodes.A qualified chip is coupled with single mode polarization maintaining fiber.The module is fully metallized with standard 14-pin package by laser welding.The output power of over 0.1 mW and the spectral width(FWHM) of over 15 nm have been achieved at operating current of 150 mA.The modules are available for use in fiber optic gyroscopes.
