摘　　要：在定义了初等变换和动等矩阵的前提下,利用矩阵三类初等变换的关系,提出了可以把方阵的行列式定义为方阵的函数的方法,并以此定义和证明了行列式的几个性质,与传统教材中的方法相比,此方法比较简洁。A new definition about determinant of a square matrix is given by way of function in this paper, and it also proves some characters of n order determinant by using this definition. Comparing with traditional teaching material, the way in this paper looks much easier and more compact.
