摘　　要：MAT为教育带来了新的机遇和挑战,而多媒体网络的应用对英语教师的教学提出了更高的要求,传统的教师角色已不再适应教育发展的新特点。大学英语教师要积极转变观念,以便在新的教学模式下,定位自己新的角色:倡导、组织协作教学;监控学习过程,调节、帮助学生学习;实施区别化教学,使学生更好地成为学习的中心,学习的主人。MAT has brought both new challenges and opportunities to education.The teachers' traditional role can not adapt to the new characteristics of education.As college English teachers,they need to convert their notion to locate their new roles in the new teaching pattern:advocating and organizing the cooperative teaching,supervising the learning process,adjusting and helping students' study,implementing individual teaching.
