电大远程教育英语课程教学改革探讨

摘　　要：教学改革是提高教学质量的重要途径。文章认为,电大英语教学必须根据远程开放教学和教育对象的特点,在课程目标上应该划分不同的层级;在教学设计上应该形式多样,具有针对性;在教学资源使用的指导上应该具体细微,清楚明白;在导学上应该因人而异,体现个性化特色;在教学模式的应用上应该具有灵活性,适合学生的自主学习。这样才能更好地提高英语远程开放教学的效果,有效地培养学生实际运用英语的能力。Teaching reform is an important way to improve teaching quality.How to deepen the reform to get better results in English language teaching by way of distance education remains a bottleneck to break through.This paper first discusses the main aspects in English language teaching such as the establishment of curriculum goal,the design of teaching procedures,the instructions for freshmen,the process of guiding learners and the application of 'guide-and-learn' model,and then comes to a conclusion that since English language teaching in open universities features in distance education and in-service learners,teachers of English should take the following into consideration: teaching objectives should be divided into different levels geared to different learners,instructional design be varied and specific,instructions in the use of learning resources be clear and appealing,guidance for learning be individual-oriented,and the application of teaching models be based on and helpful for students' autonomous learning,thus making good use of network through distance education to better students' skills at English language.
