大学学科文化功能研究:起源、回顾与思考

摘　　要：大学学科文化功能研究起源于人们对学术活动的文化特征的关注。近年来相关研究日益增多,而且学者们提出了学科文化"单一功能说"、"三功能说"、"四功能说"与"五功能说"等观点。但是,大学学科文化功能提出的主要依据尚需明确,大学学科文化的部分功能仍需重新认定,大学学科文化各功能间的关系亦需理顺,从而为大学学科文化及其功能的深入研究奠定基础。在对国内外研究进行综合分析的基础上,提出了包括分界功能、凝聚功能、规约功能、知识生产功能与育人功能在内的大学学科文化"新五功能说",而育人功能是学科文化的核心功能。Originating from a concern on the cultural characteristics of academic activities,studies on functions of the culture of university academic disciplines have attracted more and more attention and accordingly varied theories have been proposed by the academia such as unitary function theory,triple function theory,quadruple function theory and quintuple function theory.However,problems do exist in that the major evidence for proposing functions of the culture of university academic disciplines calls for clarification,some of the functions require further identification and the interrelationships of the diverse functions need to be carefully tackled as well.Based on a comprehensive analysis of the related studies,this paper,with an aim to paving the way for further studies on the culture and functions of university academic disciplines,comes up with the new quintuple functions—boundary,agglomeration,stipulation,knowledge production and talent cultivation,among which talent cultivation is the core function.
