摘　　要：以阅读为主要形式的语言输入是提高英语运用能力的基础。本文通过分析英语专业阅读教学的现状,指出了语篇模式和语篇教学优势所在,并以语篇分析为理论指导,阐明语篇教学在英语专业阅读教学实践中的应用,锻炼学生从整体把握阅读材料,培养其分析推理能力、创造能力和综合运用语言的能力。Language input which takes reading as its main form is the base to improve English using ability.This paper analyzed the current situation of reaching teaching for English majors,pointing out the advantages of discourse pattern and discourse teaching,and used discourse analyis as theoretical instruction,expounded the application of discourse teaching in English teaching practice for English majors,by which the students can master the reading materials all-sidedly,their reasoning ability,creative ability and comprehensive application ability can be cultivated.
