摘　　要：本文主要介绍了ACCME的直接认证过程,其认证具有自愿性、科学性和独立性特点。我国继续医学教育评估工作起步较晚,借鉴和吸收ACCME的成功做法,对提高我国继续医学教育评估水平具有积极意义。Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education(ACCME) is an authoritative accrediting institution for continuing medical education(CME). The ACCME fulfills its mission through a scientific,voluntary self-regulated system tor accrediting CME providers and a peer-review process responsive to changes in medical education and the health tare delivery system.Accrediting process of ACCME is focused on in this article since it has been developed for a long time and has many successful experiences. Development of CME accreditation in China started up much later.It is of great importance to study and make good use of existing successful experience on CME accrediting process for improving our CME assessment system.
