摘　　要：Based on the analysis of distance education in 199 countries and regions from print age to radio, to television and computer networks, the history and current situations, the author provides a panorama of distance education throughout the world. On top of that, he suggests that laws be made for distance education,that the state and business raise money together for distance education, which should be regarded as a new industry, that new ’highways’ be built rather than relying on the internet, that its resource banks be built as soon as possible.Based on the analysis of distance education in 199 countries and regions from print age to radio, to television and computer networks, the history and current situations, the author provides a panorama of distance education throughout the world.
