摘　　要：吴家坟位于湖北省孝感市城区东,遗址呈圆形土台地,高出四周农田约1.5—3米,直径300米,总面积约6万平方米。遗址东紧靠滚子河,滚子河自东向西流入澴水(图一)。吴家坟遗址位于天津湖的边缘地带。The Wujiafen site lies east of Xiaogan City proper, Hubei Province, and looks like a circular earth terrace. It contains cultural remains of the Qujialing Culture, Longshan Culture, Eastern Zhou, Tang, Song and Yuan periods. The excavation reported in this paper revealed tombs of the Qujialing Culture, Eastern Zhou, Tang and Song periods, house- foundations,ash-pits and storage-pits of the Longshan Culture period and storage-pits of the Yuan period, and brought to light a great number of characteristic stone tools , pottery vessels and porcelain articles. These constitute substantial material data for archaeological studies into the above periods in the eastern Hubei region and even the Yangtze-Hanshi Plain.
