谈影视字幕翻译过程中的文外补偿

摘　　要：目前国内对于外国影视作品字幕翻译通常的做法就是只翻译原影片的文字或语言。但实际的情况是由于文化差异的存在,接受语观众对很多外国影视作品中没有进行字幕翻译说明的非文字或语言部分不能理解,导致影片的观影效果不理想。"文外补偿"的概念,在一定程度上解决了这一问题。The common practice in subtitling translation in audiovisual translation process in China is to translate the original text or language only into target text. However, most of the time, the target audience cannot understand totally the non-text or non-language plot in the film without the subtitling translation. This paper put forward the“extra-text compensation”translation strategy trying to settle this problem.
