摘　　要：本文讨论了科技翻译工作工程化和现代化的可行性,并提出了在个人工作、同行协作和机助翻译三个层次上实施科技翻译工程化和现代化的初步设想。This paper starts with the discussion of the feasibility of applying engineering techniques and computers to the translation of scientific and technical literature, andthen proposes three cases where such application can be realized: (1) Micro com-puter and wordprocessing software for individual translators, (2) On-line dictionary andelectronic mail for the cooperation among translators, and (3) Machine-assisted transla-tion.
