摘　　要：土家族美术是土家人创造的特色艺术之一,也是我国区域美术与民族美术的一部分。它包括两个方面:第一是"大美术"观范围的美术,如工艺美术(石器、骨器、玉器、青铜器等)、绘画、雕塑、建筑、书法等。第二是民间工艺美术。主要体现在雕刻、织绣、服饰、编织、彩绘、印染、银饰、根雕等方面。土家族美术是我国少数民族美术史的重要组成部分,是西南少数民族美术的缩影,同时,也是土家族的文化生活与社会发展的一部分。The fine arts of Tujia ethnic group are one of the characteristic arts created by Tujia people, and are a part of China's regional and national fine arts. They include two aspects, one being of the field of 'larger fine arts' such as industrial arts(stone wares, bone wares, jade wares, and bronze wares), painting, sculpture,architecture, calligraphy, etc; and the other being the folk crafts which are mainly embodied in sculpture, textile and embroidery, dress and personal adornment, knitting, colored drawing, printing and dyeing, silver decoration,root carving, etc. They are an important components of the fine arts history of China's minorities, and are the epitome of fine arts of southwestern minorities, and a part of the cultural life and social development of Tujia ethnic group.
