摘  要:解决当前大学英语教师的身份困境不仅对英语教学实践具有指导意义,而且对教师专业发展,推进教学改革具有重要意义。从关系论的层面来看,教师自我与学生他者的关系是被需要与需要的关系,责任关系及平等对话关系,自我只有在与他者的关系中才能找到自我的位置感与归属感;从结构论层面来看,大学英语教师自我与社会制度他者最终达成价值共识才能完成自我身份的重构;从本体论层面看,大学英语教师身处中西两种文化中,正确对待他者文化,作为中国人的大学英语教师才能找到归属感,在多元的、多层的中间领域中构建自我的身份。Finding a way out of College English teachers' identity dilemma has a guiding significance not only for English teaching practice,but also for promoting the reform of college English teaching and for the teachers' professional development. From the perspective of relationship theory,the relations between the teacher as self and students as the other are the relations of need and being needed,of responsibility and equal dialogue. Only in relationship with the other can the teacher find self- position and a sense of belonging. From the perspective of structural theory,the reconstruction of College English teachers' identity will be achieved when College English teachers as self and social system as the other reach a value consensus. From the perspective of ontology,as a Chinese,College English teachers must treat the other culture properly in order to find a sense of belonging and to reconstruct self identity in the middle of the field.
