摘　　要：新教材的使用引发了我们对大学英语教学改革的思考,教材"以人为本"的教学理念促使我们寻找新的教学方法。合作学习是一种创新的教学理论,它是实践新课程、新理念、新教材的有效途径。学习策略是制约目前大学英语学习成效的一个重要因素,元认知策略是有效运用学习策略的基础和核心,在大学英语教学中对学生进行元认知策略的培养有助于学生积极主动地开展合作学习,发挥自主学习能力。The use of the new teaching text books arouse the reform thinking of college English teaching.The concept of student-centered urges the changing in teaching methods.The cooperative learning is an innovative teaching approach and an effective way of practising new curriculum,new ideas and new materials in English teaching.Learning strategies are key factors to restrict the effectiveness of the current college English learning..Metacognitive strategy is the core factor among learning strategies,therefore,metacognitive strategy training in college English teaching may enhance the learners' activity of cooperative learning and develop their autonomous learning abilities.
