摘 要:从长远角度看,我国高校英语教育的主流应该是ESP教学。学生学习外语的目的是充分利用各种情景语境和社会文化语境中的语言潜势,成功地理解和创作各种语篇。专门用途英语教学也将相应地沿两条线索进行:语境中的语篇和语言。语境中的语篇教学包括语篇的文化语境分析和情景语境分析;语言教学包括体现体裁的语言的教学、体现语场的语言的教学、体现语旨的语言教学和体现语式的语言教学。In the long run, the mainstream of English education in higher learning should be ESP teaching. Learners of English are concerned with successfully understanding and pro- ducing a range of texts using the full potential of the language across diverse situational and socio-cultural contexts. Accordingly, ESP teaching is organized through two strands: text in context and language. Teaching text in context refers to the analysis of the text's socio-cultural context and its situational context; the language strand outlines the choices available in the English language system to express what is described in the text in context, matching the four components: genre, field, tenor and mode.
