摘 要:Luminescence of firefly is a well-known phenomenon. It displays such a high intensity that one can see it by eyes. Actually, all the biological systems have been found to emit ultraweak light, involving animals, and their organs, tissues, cells, and even molecules in the living state; plants and their roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits; various kinds of alga; and microbes (bacteria, yeast, etc.). Such a universal phenomenon is regarded as "biophoton emission" [1]. Its intensity is typically is 100 photons/s cm2, which means that the biophoton flux is in about 10-17W/cm2 . It is much lower than firefly luminescence.
