摘　　要：本文尝试以自然教学法提出的“交际是语言的首要功能”为指导思想，探讨自然教学法的基本原理以及在课堂教学的应用。Under the guidance of the natural approach theory advanced by Tracy TERRELL whichsees communication as the primary function of language and focuses teaching on developing students'communicative abilities, this paper attempts an analysis of the fundamental principles of the theory anddevotes a discussion to its applications in classroom teaching.
