云横雪拥觅蓝关──与《语文》编者及吴金夫同志商榷  

Where the place named Languan Pass locates──A discussion with editors of a Chinese textbook being used in middle school and with Mr Wu Jinfu

摘　　要：韩愈贬赴湖州刺史途中，赋有《左迁至蓝关示侄孙湘》诗。中学《语文》注释“蓝关”在蓝田县，吴金夫同志又著文说在广东龙川县。本文以足够的地理、方城历史资料及其他证据说明：韩诗所指的“蓝关”，在今商州市牧护关，即古关旧所；它不在蓝田县，也不在龙川县。Han Yu was relegated to the position as Governor of Chaozhou Prefecture in 819 A. D. On his way to the post, he wrote his famous poem: To My Grandnephew Han Xiang While at Languan Pass on my Relegation Tour for Chaozhou. The place name 'Languan Pass' mentioned in the poem had been interpreted in a Chinese textbook as the Languan Pass at Lantian County, Shaanxi Province, and of late it was interpreted by Mr Wu Jinfu in his paper as the Languan Pass at Longchuan County, Guangdong Province. Based on adequate geographical annals, local annals, historical information and other evidence, this paper presents a new interpretation: Languan Pass was at ancient Yaoguan Pass (what is today's Muhuguan Pass of Shangzhou, Shaanxi Province), got at Lantian County, nor at Longchuan County.
