摘　　要：EpilepsyPatient Wang, a boy aged 14, was a pu-pil from Nanle County, Henan Province. Hemade his first visit to this clinic on Aug. 3,1984 with a history of having a seizure of ep-ilepsy for the first time 2 years before with-out any apparent cause. After that, the at-tack recurred every 1--3 months. Each timewhen an attack set in, the patient would falldown unconscious with the eyes turned up-wards and the throat emitting a sound, andrecover from the epileptic bout in severalminutes, leaving a feeling of giddiness andlack of strength.
