摘　　要：Neuropeptide Y(NPY) is a 36-amino acid polypeptide which distributes in many important cardiovascular centers, and is involved in cardiovascular regulation. The new evidence indicates that NPY and the receptor of NPY exist in the field CA3 of the rat hippocampus, but cardiovascular effect of NPY on CA3 of hippocampus is still unknown. We have studied the cardiovascular effect on CA3 in the anaesthetized Wistar rats injected with NPY.Among 6 rats, the basal levels of mean arterial pressure (MAP) and heart rate (HR)
