摘　　要：随着新媒体技术的发展,多模态现象已经广泛应用于社会生活的各个层面,大学英语课堂也不例外。本文以Halliday系统功能语法为基础,以多模态话语分析理论为框架,梳理《前景实用英语》课堂中包含的多模态因素,并解析如何协调运用各种模态以优化课堂教学设计。With the development of new media technology, multimodal phenomenon has been widely witnessed nowadays, with no exception to College English classroom. This paper bases itself on systemic functional grammar(SFG)and takes multimodal discourse analysis theory as an analytical framework, setting out to summarize the multimodal factors in the Forward English teaching and illustrate how the modalities are deployed to optimize pedagogical design.
