摘　　要：黄国文《翻译研究的语言学探索》首次将功能语言学系统地运用于汉语古诗词英汉语篇对比分析研究,将功能语言学理论系统地引入汉诗英译研究,构建了古诗词英译功能语言学途径的分析框架,提出了一个完整的语篇分析步骤。为古诗英译翻译研究开辟了一条新途径。Linguistic Explorations in Translation Studies by Huang Guowen is recommendable for at least four reasons. First, it applies systematically the functional linguistics to the comparative analyses of the English and Chinese discourses of the ancient Chinese poems and lyrics; second, it analyzes the English translations of the ancient Chinese poems and lyrics under the guidance of the theory of the functional linguistics; thirdly, it successfully establishes a framework for analyses of the English translations of ancient Chinese poems and lyrics in the way of functional linguistics; finally, it suggests an integrated procedure for the discourse analysis. It proposes a new approach to the research of English translations of ancient Chinese poems and lyrics.
