摘　　要：简要阐述霍伊的词汇重复模式的主要内容及其与衔接理论的发展关系,并以此为依据对英语四级模拟卷中的某试题进行教学实例分析,说明该模式对大学英语阅读教学的指导意义。This article discusses the application value of Hoey's patterns of lexical repetition and its developing relations with cohesion theory by giving the study of a text in a CET-4 model test as an example.The purpose of the discussion is to point out the potentials of this model in teaching non-majors how to cultivate their reading ability.
