英汉文化内涵比较与英语词汇学习

摘　　要：学习外语词汇有许多方法,科学而巧妙的学习方法往往能起到事半功倍的效果。从英汉文化内涵比较的角度学习英语词汇,是一种效果显著的学习方法。在英语词汇学习中,有些词在不同的语境中其表意看似相同,其实貌合神离,因而容易造成学习者对词汇的误解。为此,就要了解英汉词汇的文化内涵差异,具体包括传统信仰与词汇的文化内涵、与自然有关的文化内涵词、与动植物有关的文化内涵词等;还需懂得如何通过文化内涵比较来促进词汇学习,比如可以阅读英语文学作品,欣赏原版影视节目,亲身感受其文化氛围;可以在英语活动中感受和体验文化差异;还可以联系文化背景,进行词汇对比。There are many ways to learn foreign language vocabularies. Scientific and ingenious learning methods will help improve the effectiveness of vocabulary learning. Comparison between the English and Chinese cultural connotation is a perspective which proves to be efficient. Some of words in English seem to have the same meanings in different contexts,but they share different cultural connotation,which is a problem to cause confusion. Therefore,it is necessary to know the difference of cultural connotation between English and Chinese vocabulary,including traditional beliefs and cultural connotation concerning culture,nature,animals and plants. Besides,it is necessary to know how to promote the vocabulary learning through the comparison of cultural connotation through experiencing the cultural atmosphere by reading English literature and appreciating the original television programs. Still,it is advisable to sense out the difference of vocabulary connotation by designing different kinds of English learning activities.
