摘　　要：知识经济的诞生 ,标志着一个新时代的到来。而高等教育作为社会的上层建筑 ,其发展变化不可避免地要受到社会经济发展状况的影响。文章在介绍了知识经济的内涵和特点、国外的高等教育应对知识经济挑战的模式及我国高等教育的现状之后 ,着重阐述了知识经济与高等教育之间的互动关系 。The naissance of knowledge-based economy indicates the advent of a new era. Since higher education is the superstructure of the society, it is inevitable to be affected by the development of the social economy. After presenting the connotation and characteristics of knowledge-based economy, the patterns by which the overseas' higher education institutions takes on the challenges brought by the knowledge-based economy and the status quo of Chinese higher education, this article dwells on the interaction between knowledge -based economy and higher education, and then lodges puts forward the measures which Chinese higher education institutions can take so as to make reforms and innovations.
