摘　　要：本文研究了英国14-19岁阶段普通教育的考试制度及其与高校入学机制的关系。分析了其以资格证书为基础的考试制度的特点、经验和问题,为我国普通高中考试制度改革和高校入学机制改革提供参照。This paper analyses the GCSE exams system and A level exams system in England and Wales and the relationship between the exams and admission system of higher education in the UK . It explores how students get qualifications through GCSE education and exams, A level education and exams, and how these qualifications lead to different kinds of higher education admissions through the help of UCAS. It points out the advantages and disadvantages of this qualification - based evaluation and admission system, and its implications for the evaluation reform for high school curriculum reform in China .
