Brief Comment on Confucian Culture in Hosi in Periods of Southern and Northern Dynasties in WEI and JIN Dynasties

摘　　要：With the turbulence and collapse of the HAN Dynasty, the Confucian Culture of the HAN Dynasty that had had a close link with the fate of the ruling power of the HAN Dynasty went declined. The prosperity of metaphysics, Taoism and Buddhism replaced the Confucian Culture. At the time of the declining of the Confucian Culture in central China, an area in Hosi appeared an abnormal situation where the Confucian Culture raised its flag high and became flourished. There not only survived the Confucian Culture having grown in the two HAN Dynasties, but also developed tremendously. Especially after the time of unification of northern part by the Northern WEI Dynasty, the Confucian Culture in Hosi contributed greatly to the Northern WEI Dynasty. The rulers of the Northern WEI Dynasty made use of the scholars in Hosi and the Confucian Culture to stimulate the ritual formulas and perfect official system and the laws.
