摘　　要：响应联合国和十六大提出的"学习型社会"号召,认为编辑要树立终身学习观来提高自身素质,并指出编辑终身继续学习的学习目的、方法、途径,最后强调社会有责任提供条件促进编辑终身继续学习.Responding to'Study Society'Called by the United Nations and the 16 th nationalconference of China,the paper puts forward that editors should set up the perspective of all-life study to improve self-quality.Based on discussing the purpose,method and way of all-life study,the paper lays an emphasis on the reponsibility of society to promote editors'all-life study.
