摘　　要：构建学习型社会,形成全民学习、终身学习的学习型社会,是21世纪社会发展对高等教育提出的明确要求,也为成人高等教育提供了发展机遇。当前形势下,成人高等教育的发展既有赖于新的办学思想和观念,也有赖于人们对其重视程度,而成人高等教育如何在普通高校内准确定位,并充分利用普通高校的办学优势,广泛开展相关研究,这些都是实现普通高校成人教育发展的条件。Constructing a study-oriented society is the requirement of the 21st century. It also provides an opportunity of development for adult education. Under current circumstances, the development of adult education not only depends on new concepts and ideas, but also on how much importance people attach to it. Qualifications to develop adult education also lie in how to locate itself accurately in higher education institutions and how to take full advantage of the institutions.
