元认知与中国大学生英语阅读理解相关研究

摘　　要：本文作者采用元认知知识问卷调查和英语阅读测试并通过控制英语语言水平的影响对元认知与中国大学生英语阅读理解的关系进行研究。数据分析结果表明 ,元认知对学生英语阅读理解不但有直接的影响 ,而且还通过影响英语语言水平对其施加间接影响 ;This study is aimed to investigate the correlation between metacognition and EFL reading comprehension of Chinese college students. Data on independent variable metacognition, dependent variable EFL reading comprehension, and control variable EFL proficiency are collected and analyzed. The results indicate that the students need to know more procedural and conditional knowledge. Their metacognition status is tightly and positively related to their EFL reading performance. Furthermore, metacognition has an impact on both EFL proficiency and EFL reading performance.
