摘 要:学生自主择课是实现个别化自主学习的重要环节。“中央电大人才培养模式改革和开放教育试点”已经逐渐为学生自主择课提供了比较大的空间和比较宽松的环境。但是,一些试点单位在学生自主择课的具体实施过程中还存在一些问题或偏差,有待于通过加强对学生自主择课的指导工作予以解决。When students select courses, they should answer the following two questions: Which courses should I choose? How many courses should I choose in a term? If students are capable of selecting courses independently, they can become genuine autonomous learners. Since the China Central Radio and Television University began using open education as a means to pilot test a new personnel training model, distance learners have had more flexibility in choosing courses. However, in some schools where the pilot test was carried out, people have not realized that autonomous course selection should be based on rational principles. As a result, there have been a number of mistakes in the practice of autonomous course selection. For example, people have not considered the individual learning needs of students, the theoretical basis of teaching contents, the individual learning abilities of students and the possible conflicts between students' learning and work commitments [commitments?]. The major reasons for these problems are as follows. First, students are not adequately aware of individualized and autonomous learning. Second, students are not able to establish the relationship between course selection and their learning needs as well as the relationship amongst different areas of knowledge. Last, they are not motivated. Schools are also responsible for these problems. Most schools have not provided the conditions needed for students to participate in autonomous course selection. Guidance in this respect is not enough. Therefore, there is an urgent need for schools to strengthen guidance work, for example by training guidance teachers to provide guidance in different ways on autonomous course selection.
