外交委婉语的语用分析

摘　　要：语言中存在着大量的委婉语,外交语言也不例外。作为外交语言的一种策略和语言技巧,恰当地运用委婉语言可以满足特殊的社交需要,完成交际任务。外交委婉语是外交人员不可或缺的交际艺术。从语用学的视角对外交语言中的委婉现象进行分析,可以发现其存在的语用基础。Euphemisms are abundant in our languages, and thus widely used in diplomatic language without exception. As one of the tactics and speech skills, appropriate euphemistic wording can meet the special requirements of social contact and accomplish the communicative task. Euphemisms have become an indispensable artistic skill for diplomatic personnel. Analyzed diplomatic euphemisms from the pragmatic perspective, one can find the grounds of their existence.
